Building Department

Whether you are new to building, or a seasoned professional, the knowledgeable staff at the Building & Zoning Department is here to assist you.  Knowing what you are allowed to build, and where, is the first step.  From there, building it properly and safely within all ordinance parameters is how to save yourself time and headaches because of missed steps along the way. ​

If your project needs extra attention, you may need to present your proposal before the Planning & Zoning Commission which meets on the third Monday of each month at 6 pm in the Board Room on the first floor of City Hall.
